About Sabrina

Sabrina Doyle
PgDip Dietetics, MINDI, MSc Nutritional Sciences, BSc General Nursing, RGN

Sabrina Doyle - Diet and Nutrition Consulting ServiceFrom Carlow, Sabrina graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in General Nursing. As a nurse she worked in Waterford Regional Hospital in a variety of clinical settings, including medical, surgical and care of the elderly wards. It was during this time that Sabrina worked in close contact on a daily basis with dietitians and became increasingly more interested in this area of expertise.

As a result, Sabrina took active measures to pursue her goal and undertook a Masters in Nutritional Science at University College Cork, following this Sabrina was accepted into Leeds Metropolitan University where she successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics. During her time in the UK, Sabrina worked at North Tyneside General Hospital Newcastle, City Hospital Sunderland and James Cooke Hospital Middlesbrough. These opportunities have gained Sabrina a wide range of experience in different medical fields.

To date Sabrina has worked in both the UK and Ireland in a variety of medical settings, including hospital wards, outpatient departments, community clinics and GP practices, with a diverse range of patients and age groups. These experiences have enhanced Sabrina’s knowledge and skills in a broad range of medical settings and make her ideally suited to service the Carlow and Kilkenny areas across the private, business and sports sectors.

Sabrina feels it is a privilege to have a career that allows her to help people in the Carlow and Kilkenny areas and educate them to take better care of their health through the food that they eat.

Sabrina also has a keen interest in health promotion and nutrition education talks and presentations to companies at health and wellbeing seminars and consultancy for food companies. The corporate services provided by Nutritional Concepts are focused on the health and wellness of employees, schools, teachers, parents and group weight management programmes.

Sabrina Doyle - Sports NutritionSabrina is eager to assist sports teams and GAA clubs particularly in the Carlow and Kilkenny areas to reach their peak performance by providing up-to-date scientific based sports nutrition education and advice to suit their specific training needs. Nutritional Concepts can provide up-to-date scientific based sports nutrition education to clubs, teams and coaches, in the Carlow and Kilkenny areas. Advice throughout the season includes; events preparation, training diets, information on sports drinks and hydration.

To fulfil the needs of both individuals and organisations in the Carlow and Kilkenny areas Nutritional Concepts was created by Sabrina to offer an extensive range of services in relation to nutrition.
